From Wellesely College Class Reunion - June, 2004
Dear Melanie,
The campus was abuzz Sunday morning at how those old gals in the 25th reunion class know how to throw a party. Our fellow classmates were impressed too! When was the last time we had a party that had to be shut down by the police??? Too over the top! One of my classmates wrote, ".. and the party-crashers were a testament to the great job Carole did with the DJ and the music. Sorry, but I really can not take credit that belongs to others. We went with the 20th reunion play list as a base, Pam Wood sent you to me, and YOU are outrageous! You kept the music right at dinner and then knew just when to ramp it up! Who can resist a smidge of Disco before letting music fly for the rest of the evening. What I did not realize is that a small drink of the cold water Chris brought you and the stroke of midnight would send you into outer space with a vengeance! So many thanks for blending your passion and profession for us and creating memories that we shall cherish as we march in Reunion parades of the future! "
P.S. I have been rocking to the CD made for the Social Hour, which I forgot to tell you was fabulous. The sounds of that oh so familiar music drew our class out from the dorm onto the terrace and let them know there was a party happening.
From The Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts - February 19, 2002
Dear Melanie,
Thank you for your participation in The Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts' (WFWM) fourth annual "For the Love of Women" event last Saturday. Everyone had a blast and that was due in part to your great choice of hits. The dance floor was packed all night long and no one complained about the music. It is hard to please everyone, but somehow you managed it superbly!
The Women's Fund was both proud and excited to host this festive event, which presented a much welcomed, safe and joyous environment for women to celebrate their love for one another. We were honored to have you showcase your musical talents for the attendees of this year's event. It was a true success, attaneded by over 400 local women and raising $18,000.
We look forward to your participation at next year's "For the Love of Women" gala. Thank you for all your hard work. We hope you had fun.
Sincerely,
Andrea Gonzalez
